Wedding Card

I created this card using Bazzil Wedding Pin Stripe cardstock. I cut the white pattern using Cricut Design Studio and the Storybook cartridge. The two inset matts are cut and edge embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One. The large paper flower is from Dollarama, the smaller flowers are Prima and the faux pearls are from Kaisercraft. The branches were punched with a Martha Stewart paper punch. This card has gotten a lot of attention - I made a second one and gave it to my cousin for his wedding.

4th Birthday Card

This is a card I made for a friends daughters 4th birthday.  The cardstock is from DCWV Nana's Kids and the stamps are from Pink Cat Studio (Enchanted Lily and Fairy Friends).  I coloured these with Copics and added some sparkle to the flowers with the Spica pens.  I then put diamond glaze over the Spica coloured flowers.  Pop dots were used to make the images "pop".  I had a lot of fun making this card and can't wait to make some more.Posted by Picasa

Scarecrow Decor

I have been wanting to make some fall decorations for around the house and then I found instructions and a .cut file for this scarecrow box here: http://www.customcrops.com/article_info.php?articles_id=123
Instead of stitching around the eyes and the mouth, I used 3D black paint. I didn't have anything black to stitch with. I could have used real raffia, but I wanted to try Donna's trick. The "fake" rafia came out darker than hers, but I still like it. I had these paper sunflowers from Dollarama lying around for a while now, and thought one would make a nice accent on the hat. I have some fall picks from Michaels that might look nice in the box.

Frogs Built a Snowman!

As soon as I saw this digital stamp from Pink Cat Studio, I HAD to have it. The thought that little frogs built this snowman made me giggle madly!!!! I have coloured about a dozen of these already! I made the itty bitty paper lunch bag using Cricut Plantain Schoolbook. Inside the bag is floral foam to help hold the christmas pick in place. I used pop dots to adhere the snowman to the bag.

I used Copics to colour this digital stamp, and Spica pens to add sparkle to the frogs hats and snowmans hat. I used a metalic gel pen for some of the stripes on the scarf. I also used Diamond Glaze on the frogs hats. They are SOOOOOO cute!Posted by Picasa

Itty Bitty Betty - Candy Cane Swing

I loved colouring this digital stamp from Pink Cat Studio. My Copics skills are coming along nicely! I added some sparkle to the candy cane and Betty's elf costume with Spica pens. I used diamond glaze over her belt to make it shine. Pop dots were used to make Betty "pop". The green and red matts were cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Curved Rectangles. The ribbon is from Michaels, and the 3D pointsetta was made using Cricut Winter Woodland cartridge.

Bridal Shower Advice Book

I had actually created this book in 2007.  I am adding it now as I never added it to either of my craft sites.  If I can remember any of the details, I will add them.  For now, enjoy the photos.  The bride-to-be loved it!!  Each page had tags, or cards for the guests to write advice to the bride.  There were extra cards to write on as some of the pockets could hold more than one card.
